The value for money at this quaint and traditional Auberge was excellent. The room was comfortable and had direct access to the garden for our dogs. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful woods and orchards. The staff treated us with professionalism and a relaxed, "feel at home" attitude.
The breakfast experience could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The bedrooms at Auberge Du Val Au Cesne are very comfortable and cozy, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of trekking. As a nature lover, I found the private terrace with direct access to the garden a major highlight. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The seating area in the guest rooms was a great addition. It provided a comfortable space to unwind and read a book or have a chat with friends. The private bathroom in the double room had a bath, shower, and bidet, ensuring that all our needs were met. The flat-screen TV in each room was a pleasant surprise, offering entertainment options during our downtime.
Personally, I found the hairdryer in the shower to be a bit inconvenient. It would have been better if it was located elsewhere.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The building and property exuded a calm and relaxing vibe that instantly put me at ease. The staff, oh my goodness, they were super professional yet so down-to-earth, making me feel right at home. And let's talk about the animals! From the parrot in the dining room to the finches in the breakfast room, and the peacocks and pheasants roaming the property, my heart melted. The hotel rooms were separate from the main building, which added to the charm, and I loved the interesting cages with various birds and fowl. The restaurant was lovely, serving up delicious traditional Normandaise cuisine. And the location, wow! Surrounded by woods and orchards, it was a tranquil paradise. this place was jaw-droppingly amazing, offering free Wi-Fi, free parking, 24-hour reception, a bar/lounge area. Definitely a must-stay for anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable experience.
